Ever since news of Meghan Markle dating Prince Harry broke, it seemed like the former actress was almost always on the news. Even becoming a royalty did nothing to shield her from this, and if anything, only fueled public interest in her.

Being named a Duchess, then later on becoming a mom, Meghan’s always in the news for one reason or another. The latest story about her comes from Wendy Williams this time around, with the 54-year-old who hosts an eponymously named show claiming that Meghan had once sought a job on the show.
Modeling Gig
Williams, who has also made multiple headlines this year, revealed that Meghan did try to get onto her show for a modeling gig, although they didn’t take her on.
The host went on to say that it was before the current Duchess met Prince Harry, but she couldn’t hide the fact that she was pleased that Meghan had shown interest in The Wendy Williams Show.
Obviously, this wasn’t the first time Wendy was discussing Meghan on the show, but she has always had nice things to say about the new mom. She has even admitted to having a lot of respect for the Duchess, saying that she was all about the hustle, a trait that she found commendable in women.

If you didn’t know, Meghan was one of the ladies on Deal or No Deal, but she gained recognition playing Rachel Zane on USA Network’s Suits. She was pretty good at it too, starring alongside Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, among other well-known stars.
Rachel was Mike Ross’ (Patrick J. Adams’ character) love interest on the show, and they made quite the on-screen couple with their sizzling chemistry.
Their romance was magical, so much so that a fraction of audiences thought the two actors were together in real life. However, at the time Meghan was dating Harry, and Patrick was already married. He still happily is, to Troian Bellisario.
Constant Speculation
That didn’t stop the online community from constantly speculating about something going on between the two, and everything blew over when Adams shared a picture of Meghan pecking him.
The innocent picture was in commemoration of Suits reaching the 100-episode milestone, as well as celebrating the actress’ birthday, but people on Instagram and Twitter were livid!
Everyone seemed to think that each was cheating on their partner, and since the picture was on J. Adams’ account, he was receiving all the heat. Guess what? He ended up deleting his Instagram account altogether.

Speaking to Esquire, he said that he woke up to the backlash, and realized that it wasn’t okay to post anything sensitive about Meghan anymore.
He was okay with the hate comments, but what he didn’t like was the fact that people took the picture out of context. The actor wasn’t ready to take himself through another similar situation.
Back to Meghan, it seems that everything worked out well in the end, despite missing out on being a model on Wendy’s show. She’s now part of the royal family, and if you saw baby Archie’s birth certificate, his mother’s occupation was listed as Princess of the United Kingdom. Not bad for a job title, right?
