For the past decade, she has learned the art of having criticisms work to her advantage, in addition to perfecting the skill of taking on multiple projects all at once.

Creating jobs was also another motivating factor, and she didn’t fully absorb this fact until she created Telenovela.
She was on set, supervising everything when Shaun Cassidy commented that her idea had resulted in almost 300 jobs.
It then dawned on her that she was more concerned about these people earning a living compared to the ratings her show would have.
Speaking about how filmmaking and acting have affected her as a person, Longoria is of the opinion that getting into directing and producing has made her a better actress.
Having been actively involved in the creative process, she now understands that a lot of work has already gone into the project before the actual script finds its way to her.
Jack of All Trades
Being a Jack of all trades seems to work well for this particular actress. In 2017, she launched an eponymously named clothing line, which is already making a name for itself in fashion circles.
Interestingly, Longoria has been in love with sewing most of her life, and it was even her friends who pushed her into turning her love for it into a source of income.
However, they were of the idea that just having her name on the products would be enough to sell them, but she was more committed to making sure that everything she designed was as authentic as they come.
It wasn’t easy at first, but the “designer” admits that the whole thing was a learning process for her. She surrounded herself with the who’s who in the industry, while at the same time coming up with her own ideas.
