When The Mummy was released, there was a clamor for the movie. The movie featuring Brendan Fraser was one of the finest movies of that time. In the 00s, the actor was one of the most sought after actors who featured in blockbuster movies like “George of the Jungle,” “Journey to the Center of the Earth,””Bedazzled,” and “The Quiet American.” When he tried doing “Tomb of the Dragon Emperor,” he fell flat on the box office. The film was heavily criticized and put a dent in the actor reputation.
Things started worse when he was not featured for “Journey to the Center of the Earth 2” and Dwayne Johnson became the star.
These days, the actor has been missing in some action movies. The success of Fraser started in 1992 when the “Encino Man was released.” Years later, his career took a nosedive because of his bad movie selection.
The financial problems of Fraser didn’t have to last long before it came to the limelight. 2013 was not a good year for him because he was unable to pay the annual spousal support of $900,000.
The actor claimed that he was paying around $205,000 every month whereas his ex-wife revealed that the actual figure was a meagre $112,000. After coving his expenses, Fraser was only left with $92,000 a month which was far form enough for his lavish lifestyle.
