Quick guess; you must be a club member – no? If you’re not, then you must know someone who is. But maybe you even fall in that class of individuals who think that clubs are overrated, but you couldn’t be more wrong!
They are a sense of community, a platform where like-minded people interact mostly for leisure, but don’t kid yourself that multi-million dollar deals aren’t struck here.
Of all the clubs that you know, have you heard of Nexus? The New York club is now in its third month of operations, located in Tribeca, Manhattan. Specifically, it is on the 20-storied 100 Church Street building, up on its seventh floor.
Spanning an impressive 34,000 sq. feet, Nexus welcomes everyone. Unlike other clubs that pigeonhole themselves to specific themes and categories of people, the hottest property in New York is all welcoming. That automatically scores it some points, doesn’t it?
Entrepreneurs, parents, groundsmen, guards, celebrities, name them! They can all converge at Nexus and exchange ideas. After all, it is ideas that propel the human race forward. Why then shouldn’t we embrace ventures that stimulate us to think outside the box?
If you aren’t sold on this new club yet, maybe its investors will give you the final push you need. Want to guess who they might be? First clue; one of them recently won the Masters. Any takers?
If you said Tiger Woods, then you know your golf? Along with Justin Timberlake, the two celebrities have poured their money into Nexus, certifying it as a credible and legitimate venture. If they trust the club that much, who are we to try and poke holes?
By now, you must have figured out that the Nexus Club is part and parcel of the renowned Nexus Collection, a company that has firmly established itself as a household brand.
The firm’s Albany resort (Bahamas) speaks volumes about their dedication to excellence, and we just have to wait just a little longer to see that level of commitment replicated in the Club.
A Different Brand
According to the company, the move to open up a club is in line with trying to establish a brand different from asset management and real estate, and thus far they are indeed gaining momentum. Plans for more clubs in LA, Toronto, and other major cities are well in the works.
Just as is the case to all other clubs, there are definitely perks you enjoy for being a member.
Nexus Club offers meeting rooms, a restaurant to die for, a wine collection that would be the envy of any collector, and a lounge where members can quietly sip their cocktails.
However, this particular establishment takes it a notch higher – they offer family services and also have a wellness center.
By family services, they mean a daycare and a candy bar that would keep kids coming back for more.
As for the wellness center, Nexus has private workout studios, a spa, and a salon. Who wouldn’t want to take advantage of these amenities?
