What’s unique about the 2022 Honda Civic Sedan?
The new sedan resembles its prototype shown in 2020, but with a cleaner and creaseless body, it looks better than the regular 10th generation model. With a broad upfront area, the vehicle has enough room for LED headlamps equipped with integrated LED DRLs and a matching body-colored grille. Its front body is similar to Honda’s HR-V, recently introduced in Europe and Japan.

The new sedan offers a front bumper with a bulky black fog lamp, and a backside with modest LED tail-lamps, another bumper, and a tailgate. The car’s interior represents a honeycomb mesh dashboard with minute buttons and a 9-inch HD touchscreen. It’s expected to have a fully digital gauge display with buttons for controlling climate.
According to Japanese media reports, the new Civic might feature Honda’s new Global platform, which was supposed to be a part of the HR-V models. Further, it will comprise of two new variants named the Si and R which might come with an integrated 306bhp, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine.
Just FYI, the automaker is also testing a hatchback version of the sedan, which would feature a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. This version would have the power to generate 174 bhp output and 220Nm torque.
Past figures reveal that the regular model’s price would start at $22,245, and the hatchback version’s price would begin from $23,195.
