When choosing a career path nowadays, it is best to know your options. If the goal is to land into a high-paying job, keep a close eye on the occupations that are in-demand in the job market.
Online career website Indeed ranked the most promising jobs, and it was found that workers from the technology, business, health care, and architecture fields hold some of the best occupations in 2020.
The recruitment site compiled a list of the 25 best jobs of the year based on three criteria: average pay, the percentage of the job title’s growth on Indeed within the past three years, and the number of the job title postings per one million total listings on the career site. The ranking considered jobs that pay $75,000 or more annually.
Jobs in the technology field are some of the highest-paid positions in 2020.
On top of the list are Software Architects who are experts in software development and is responsible for making high-level designs as well as executing software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Number 2 on the list are Full Stack Developers, professionals who work on the overall stages of software development, from front end to back end, database, API, and server.
Seven out of 10 tech jobs joined the list, while health care occupations are also booming industries. Real Estate Agent job is also growing, while professional and business services sectors have been recession-proof since the early 1990s.
