If you have watched the 2003 film Something’s Gotta Give on Netflix, you will appreciate the wit and charisma shown by Harry Sanborn (Jack Nicholson). Despite his age, Nicholson still has the swag that is likable even by today’s generation.

As it turns out, Nicholson has had a long and successful acting career, spanning over six decades. The 82-year-old actor is a three-time Academy Award winner and has been an Oscar nominee in every decade from the 1960s to the 2000s.
He has starred in some of Hollywood’s most notable films including The Shining, Terms of Endearment, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and As Good As It Gets among others.
Despite his shining star, Nicholson has had enough going without a single film credit to his name since 2010. Word on the streets has that he’s had memory issues hence his retirement, but the actor brandished that as just rumors claiming he just less motivated. And rightly so, considering his age.
Real Estate
Nicholson might have slowed down on his acting career, but revitalized his energy on growing his real estate and his art collection both of which are valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. Jack’s real estate is now valued at $100 million, and his art at around $150 million.
Jack owns more than a dozen properties in different places within the United States (US), and some more around the world.
These properties include his favorite, a multi-property situated at Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills which is one the most expensive places to live in, in the world. The property covers about three acres with at least four properties.

Jack has a range of other houses in Los Angeles (L.A), which include a condo in Venice and a 70-acre estate in Malibu. He also owns a home in Kailua, Hawaii overlooking the ocean.

Nicholson’s Art Collection
In addition to his real estate wealth, Jack also has a great taste of art, with a collection of more than $150 million. This is even more than his real estate wealth. It seems this person has been going hand in hand with his acting career, having begun collecting art since the 1960s. He is said to have among the best collection of art in Holly wood.
His taste for art focuses on contemporary works and 20th-century art, ranging from works by Matisse, Picasso, Modigliani, Botero, Rodin, and Magritte among others. Ed Ruscha, a renowned American artist termed Nicholson’s collection as among the best out there.
Needless to say, his art’s value will most definitely increase with time even as he continues to add more to his already rich portfolio.
With collections of such established artists, it wouldn’t be a surprise if a billionaire somewhere in the world one day just paid millions of dollars for just a single painting adding to his already vast net worth. Still, his collection is something worth noting.
