Challenges Of Parenting
Kristen Bell and her husband, Dax Shepard have always been unapologetically open about their lives as parents. Bell once shared about the parenting technique she used to help one of her daughters, Delta, fall asleep.
While their kids, 5-year-old Lincoln and 4-year-old no longer wear diapers, Bell and Shepard have gone ahead to launch a brand that produces diapers and other baby care products.
The couple understands the challenges of diapering, as well as some other activities involved in raising a baby and that, prompted them to launch the Hello Bello brand. This brand would be exclusively sold at Walmart, and it features affordable products that are plant-based.
Motivation Behind Brand
According to Bell, the idea behind the products was to develop something she would want to use on her baby but also make them available at a very affordable price.
They reportedly spent 2 years developing the concept for the brand and eventually giving life to it. They are proud and excited about how everything turned out, particularly the diapers which Bell described as highly absorbent.
Explaining the rationale behind the creation of the line, Bell said she understands how beautifully messy being a parent can be considering that she has two kids of her own. That is exactly why they created the line of baby care products that are premium and super-effective to cater to all a parent needs to care for a baby from head to toe.
Shepard also explained that they understand how hard parenting can be and they think parents should not have to be in a tough spot where they have to make a choice between what’s best for their kid and what suits their budget.
He further stated that keeping things affordable was why they opted for Walmart as their exclusive retail partner as the retail outlet allows them to offer the premium products at an affordable price.
Overview Of Products
The line has ten products with a price ranging between $1.88 and $23.94. Products in the line are baby lotion, diapers, bubble bath, diaper rash cream, mineral sunscreen, laundry detergent, body wash and shampoo, wipes and bug spray. All the products were reportedly formulated using effective and safe products, and that includes organic botanicals.
According to media outlets, the brand offers diapers that have an absorption capacity that is more than fifty times the weight in fluid. Lotions, artificial fragrances or chlorine were avoided in the diapers’ components, and they will be made available in 5 different designs. Also, the brand’s bug spray is hypoallergenic, DEET-free and from lab tests, it can repel fifty-five insects for as long as 6 hours.
The brand is now one of Walmart’s robust baby products selection. In 2018, over 2,000 Walmart stores modified their baby department.
